Gabriel Martinelli will be out until the end of the year following knee surgery - but Arsenal have issued more positive news on Pablo Mari's injury.
Martinelli, who is the Gunners' second top scorer this season with 10 goals in 26 appearances, has undergone successful surgery after injuring his left knee in training last month.
But the 19-year-old forward is not expected to return to full training until the end of 2020. However, there was more positive news for boss Mikel Arteta as centre-back Mari is set to return to training in September, having sprained ankle ligaments during the defeat at Manchester City last month.
