There has been a significant improvement at Arsenal over the last couple of weeks. Things looked bleak immediately after the season restarted, but Mikel Arteta has begun to put his stamp on the team.
There are, though, still plenty of areas where improvement is needed. It remains to be seen which players will leave in the summer, and it’s also not yet clear how much money the Gunners will have to spend.
The funds available to Arteta are likely to depend on whether he can guide his side to European qualification. Either way, Arsenal will need to invest shrewdly in the summer if they are to maximise their potential under their new manager.
