Conor McGregor will be ready to take on Khabib Nurmagomedov for UFC Lightweight glory should he have enough to see off the challenge of Dustin Poirier on Fight Island.
That is the view of former Middleweight Champ Michael Bisping, who has tipped the matchup to be bigger than the previous meeting between the duo back in 2018.The bout, which was noted as the biggest in the history of the promotion by President Dana White, remains the highest PPV sale in the history of UFC with 2.4m buys.Although Khabib announced his retirement following his 29th consecutive MMA victory, which came against Justin Gaethje back in October, he has recently taken part in meetings with White in Abu Dhabi.
