Megan Barton-Hanson has revealed TV snobs won’t hire her because she strips off on the internet. The Love Island star, 27, makes big money by posting sexy photos on X-rated website OnlyFans — but it is having a negative effect on her showbiz career.

She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I feel like I haven’t been put forward for certain things because I have OnlyFans. Some channels are very weird about it.

But I wouldn’t change anything. I am very stubborn.“People have an old fashioned view about OnlyFans. It’s so weird to me because you’ll see the Kardashians posting the same sort of content that you get on OnlyFans.“People like sexy women, but not when they’re making money from it and taking control of it.

It’s very backwards.“Hopefully people are going to realise it’s not always as seedy as people make out.”Bosses at MTV are still keen to work with Megan and she stars on the new series of Celeb Ex on the Beach, which starts on Tuesday at 10pm.Recently, Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks cut ties with actress Sarah Jayne Dunn after she opened up an OnlyFans account. She refused to close the account, meaning she was let go from the long-running soap.Speaking of her decision on Loose Women earlier in February, the star said: "The uncertainty of knowing what was going to happen after, if I'd have a job to go back to, what the situation was and financially it was difficult."She went on: "I needed something else that I can be in control of, that can still be creative, that I can enjoy, that I can do in my own time, that I can do alongside my job."Sarah Jayne explained: "It's different because I'm getting to choose who I am working with, what I am wearing, I get to make sure my pictures aren't photoshopped."
