Hearts kid Scott McGill hopes he can cap off his loan spell at Airdrie with a title and force his way into Robbie Neilson’s Premiership plans for next season.The 20-year-old penned a one-year contract extension at Tynecastle earlier this month after impressing in League One with the Diamonds.And his fine form continued as he climbed off the bench late on to score the final goal in a thumping 4-1 win over Falkirk that kept Airdrie’s title hopes alive.Now the midfielder, who has netted five goals in 34 appearances, has revealed Jambos boss Neilson wants him to return to Gorgie ready for the step up to the top flight.McGill said: “He (Neilson) wants me to go back to Hearts and go into pre-season flying, and try and push into the first team there.“The Premiership would be a big test but that’s why I’m here, to get first team experience and get as many games as I can.“This is my first season in men’s football and I’m learning every time I get on the pitch so it’s been great so far.“All the guys have been a great help to me, especially Callum Fordyce and Rhys McCabe.
