“Meek Mill,” is being dragged online for forking over a measly $20 bill from his Rolls-Royce to kids selling water bottles on the streets of Atlanta.
The 33-year-old posted footage of the driver’s seat charity work on his Instagram story — captioning the video of the seven kids “Atl RUNTZ.” But he was quickly called out for what critics called “performative activism.”“I don’t need to recored myself doing a good deed,” wrote one less-than-impressed fan while another commenter wrote that the amount was “disrespectfully low,” pointing out that “splitting” the bill would amount to only two or three bucks per kid.
But, historically, Meek isn’t a scrooge. In April of this year, the “Dreams and Nightmares” hitmaker donated his 2018 Rolls-Royce.
