Bernard was 18 when he was convicted in 2000 along with an accomplice, Christopher Vialva, of carjacking and murdering Todd and Stacie Bagley, married Christian youth ministers from Iowa, on the Fort Hood army base in Texas.
The 40-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been speaking out about reforming the justice system and had been bombarding President Trump with tweets asking for him to step him.
