McDonald's fans queued for three hours as drive-thrus in some of the fast food restaurant branches opened after weeks of lockdown.

Drivers desperate for their burger fix waited in line outside a number of branches across France. However, out of 1,490 McDonald's restaurants in France, just 30 of them reopened their drive-thru service.

In the Île-de-France region in north-central France, the drive-thru and home delivery services had partly resumed - with traffic jams seen in Moissy-Cramayel, Lieusaint-Moissy and Saint-Gratien in Val-d'Oise, all southeast of Paris.
