Max Verstappen has agreed to end his boycott of the hit Netflix series Drive to Survive.The popular show, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at F1 and its stars, has been credited with boosting the sport’s profile, particularly in America.

But one of F1’s biggest names has declined to take part since appearing in series one. Verstappen has accused the programme’s makers of exaggerating storylines and casting certain drivers in a negative light.

For example, the Dutch driver wasn’t happy with its portrayal of friend Lando Norris in series four, which focused on the dramatic 2021 season. I think they are two great guys, really nice first of all, and they made it look like Lando was a bit of a d***, which he isn't at all.”Verstappen has since held clear-the-air talks with the Drive to Survive producers and has agreed to be interviewed for the next season, which is being filmed at present and will broadcast early next year.
