Matrix icon Keanu Reeves is 'immortal' according to bizarre conspiracy theory

Keanu Reeves fans are convinced there is a reason behind the Hollywoodactor's youthful appearance.The Matrix star, 57, quickly became a heartthrob after shooting to fame in the late 1980s – and the star looks just as good nowadays!In fact, some of his fans believe he looks a little too good for his age, which has gone on to spark a bizarre conspiracy theory.READ MORE: How much did Keanu Reeves make from Matrix and what is his net worth?They claim that Keanu may actually be immortal and has lived for multiple centuries in different "identities".

It's rumoured the "first sighting" of Keanu is Charlemagne, King of the Franks and Lombards and Emperor of the Romans.Charlemagne – who bears a resemblance to the actor – reportedly lived from 742AD to 814AD.He is said to have passed away of natural causes just months after he established his son as his successor, sparking speculation that the whole thing could have been staged.

Another of Keanu's "identities" is believed to be the 19th Century medical doctor and actor Paul Mounet, who also looks like the star.

Following the doctor's death in February 1922 due to heart disease, theorists have claimed it may have all been set up in order for Keanu to escape.
