The total number of people who have tested positive for the coronavirus in Scotland has now risen to 18 with many still confused about the spread of infection and the best way to prevent it.
Basic protective measures issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) include regularly washing your hands and maintaining a distance of at least one metre from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
But what about the long-term? The spread of coronavirus around the world has resulted in over 100,000 infections and 3,000 deaths with Italy placing up to 16 million people under quarantine as it battles to contain it.
