Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has admitted that he has always been motivated to help those most in need. The England international, who has scored three goals this season since returning from a lengthy injury lay-off in October, is renowned for going the extra mile off the pitch to help those less fortunate than himself and others.
After being awarded an MBE in October last year, the United academy graduate played an integral role in ensuring young children got free school meals earlier this year, after challenging the government.
Furthermore, Rashford also earned himself an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Manchester in October, highlighting how motivated and driven he is to succeed away from the football
