Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United steamrolled Cardiff City on this day in 2018 in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first game in temporary charge of the Reds.
Five goals from three different scorers got the Norwegian's tenure off to a brilliant start, against one of his former clubs, and set up the pathway to becoming the permanent boss in March 2019.
Six days earlier, Xherdan Shaqiri's seven-minute brace for Liverpool saw Jose Mourinho's time at Old Trafford end, leaving United 19 points off the title race pace.
Solskjaer departed Molde to take over on a temporary basis before going on to earn the permanent job for just under three years, until his sacking last month.
