Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot is the subject of interest from former Reds chief and current Roma manager Jose Mourinho.
That is according to a report by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport who claim that Mourinho has informed the Roma hierarchy that he wants to lure the Portugal international to the Italian capital during the January transfer window.
Mourinho signed Dalot from Porto back in 2018 whilst in charge at Old Trafford and wants to be reunited with his fellow countryman for a second time.
The Roma chief, who hit out at journalists over the weekend, is desperate to strengthen his squad following a recent run of bad form, which has left them seventh in Serie A, and Dalot is reportedly amongst his targets.
