Manchester United have reportedly identified an alternative option to Newcastle United target Kieran Trippier ahead of the January transfer window.The Red Devils are understood to be keen on adding a new right-back and have weighed up a move for Trippier in both of the previous two transfer windows.With Newcastle also now said to be interested in a move for the Atletico Madrid defender, United have looked at other options as they look to add to their squad.At present, Ralf Rangnick's option at right-back are Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot, but he shares Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's opinion that an upgrade is required.The Athletic report that while United remain interested in Trippier they are also now considering a move for RB Leipzig's Tyler.
