Signed by former manager Jose Mourinho from Porto for around £20million, the defender has struggled to hold down a regular place in the United line-up.
However, after coming into the team against Arsenal, the 22-year-old was retained against Crystal Palace and produced another impressive display.
That came as Aaron Wan-Bissaka returned from a minor injury to take place on the United bench. Dalot spent last season on loan at rejuvenated Italian giants AC Milan and was allowed to twice face United in the Europa League, though twice failed to win.
