A general practice in Burnage today temporarily closed ‘with immediate effect’ due to a three staff members testing positive for coronavirus.Patients of Ladybarn Group Practice on Briarfield Road were today (July 30) sent a text message informing them of the practice's closure.The message said all their phone lines would be diverted to an out of hours service until it reopened on Monday morning (August 3).“Due to a local COVID19 outbreak we are closed with immediate effect until 0800 Monday 3rd August,” the message started with.“This means our phones will divert to the GP Out of Hours service during this time.“Our doctors will be working remotely for pre booked telephone consultations and prescription enquiries.”The message said that.
