Manchester Airport has issued an update after a 'baggage issue' left passengers without luggage as they landed abroad. Airport bosses warned passengers about the problem yesterday (July 11).
The problem affected check-in at Terminal 2 throughout the day, with the issue still described as 'ongoing' late yesterday evening.
Manchester Airport's 'resilience team' was called upon to keep check-in and security operations running while the problems were fixed.
But in an update issued this morning (Wednesday), a Manchester Airport spokesperson said the baggage system in Terminal 2 is now 'fully back up and running'.
