Hollyoaks star Lucy-Jo Hudson has opened up to fans about the challenges of having a child with an allergy as she recalled the moment her son passed out and 'stopped breathing' when he was just 18 months old.

"My boy Carter has quite a few allergies including milk, and pet hair, but his main one is the worst one you read about which is a nut allergy," she added alongside a picture of herself and Carter and one of her little boy when in hospital.
