Now, Howard, Sydney and Emily — along with a rag-tag group of neighbors — have to fight for their right to keep things scary — in a safe way.«This is our house.

Playing on the saying that “you can’t fall in love with someone else until you fall in love with yourself, at the Groove Hotel, the women have the opportunity to do both. Between flings, friendship, true love, or something in between, “Back in the Groove” aims to give older women a chance to take charge, break through double standards, and have fun doing it.

Ethan Shanfeld Aside from Westerosi politics and fire-breathing beasts, HBO’s “House of the Dragon” plots the demise of a friendship between Young Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) and Alicent Hightower (Emily Carey), who marries Rhae’s father, King Viserys (Paddy Considine), and threatens her friend’s heirdom with a newborn son. As Alcock noted in an interview with Nylon, “‘House of the Dragon’ highlights yes, the patriarchy, yes, misogyny, but also the internalized misogyny that these two women are forced to face. They’re forced to be put at odds with one another by the choices by men.” Since the characters are set in opposition due to decisions made by their fathers, Alcock added that she finds it “ironic” that the show’s fan base — which is mostly men — is simultaneously pitting the characters against each other.

The details for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II have been revealed as the nation prepares for a final farewell.The UK will say goodbye to the monarch, who has reigned for 70 years, on Monday with proceedings to start at 8am as the doors of Westminster Abbey will open. Those attending the event will be representatives from the home nations and heads of state from overseas including American President Joe Biden who has previously confirmed that he will be attending.

Naomi Ackie is giving fans a look at «the Whitney you never knew» in the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic, The Star Wars actress is embodying the late diva in the film, due out this December, and fans got a first look at her portrayal of the legendary vocalist when the first trailer dropped on Thursday.The trailer begins with Whitney's origins as a New Jersey choir girl, who steps on stage for her mother, Cissy (Tamara Tunie), one night when legendary record exec Clive Davis (Stanley Tucci) is in the audience. Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Florian Zeller, the French filmmaker behind the Oscar-winning “The Father” and “The Son,” is set to make his TV debut with the adaptation of Stefano Massini’s play “The Lehman Trilogy.” Zeller will write, direct and co-produce the series under his newly formed Blue Morning. Lorenzo Mieli at The Apartment Pictures, a Fremantle company, and Domenico Procacci at Fandango are executive producing the series. The pair previously teamed on the acclaimed series “My Brilliant Friend” based on the Elena Ferrante novels. Massini’s epic drama charts the history of one of the global financial institutions that helped spark the 2008 recession. The original production inspired Sam Mendes to stage an English-language version of Massini’s five-hour play. Adapted by Ben Power, the production won five Tony Awards earlier this year, including prizes for Sam Mendes’ direction and for the lead performance of Simon Russell Beale.
