Aram Sheibani, 40, ‘squandered money like water from a well’ and enjoyed a ‘cash rich’ lifestyle, a jury has been told. He denies a string of charges and is on trial at Manchester Crown Court.
He travelled around the world and enjoyed luxury accommodation, expensive cars and high value art by artists including Banksy and Andy Warhol, a court heard.
Mr Sheibani amassed significant ‘unexplained wealth’, including houses and flats with a value of nearly £5m in total, the jury heard.
