Aram Sheibani, 40, is accused of a catalogue of offences including dishonestly obtaining money transfers, fraud and forgery.
It is alleged he lived a ‘luxury lifestyle’ and had obtained significant ‘explained wealth’ through illicit property buying, tax evasion and drug dealing.
Mr Sheibani, of Trafford, denies the offences and is on trial at Manchester Crown Court. On day three of the trial, mortgage advisor David Tonge has given evidence from the witness box about his dealings with Mr Sheibani.
