Aram Sheibani, 40, amassed significant ‘unexplained wealth’, including houses and flats with a value of nearly £5m in total, the jury have previously been told.
He denies a string of charges and is on trial at Manchester Crown Court. On day two of the trial, jurors heard Mr Sheibani, of Trafford, obtained residential properties by fraud, and also used deposits for the properties to conceal the source of his ‘ill-gotten gains'.
