Cristiano Ronaldo is planning showdown talks with his agent about his Manchester United future.Ronaldo has become disillusioned with life back at Old Trafford and wants to meet Jorge Mendes to discuss what his options will be at the end of the season. It is understood Ronaldo is hoping to have face-to-face talks with Mendes when he returns to Portugal in March for his national team's crunch World Cup qualifier with Turkey. As exclusively revealed last month, Ronaldo is considering his future at United while he waits to discover who the next permanent manager will be.

But since then he has suffered a dramatic dip in form after struggling to form a positive relationship with interim boss Ralf Rangnick.

The Portuguese superstar has failed to score in his last five games, seen United crash out of the FA Cup to Middlesbrough and found himself dropped for Tuesday's disappointing draw at rock-bottom Burnley.Ronaldo has a contract until 2023 - but has been waiting to see who the club appoint as the next permanent boss.He has let it be known he wouldn't support Rangnick's appointment, while he has no experience of having played under fellow targets Mauricio Pochettino and Erik Ten Hag.Which manager should Man Utd go for?
