Manchester United will be paying “close attention” to Liverpool’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid - because of a transfer plan.
The Red Devils are already starting to put together their recruitment strategy for the new season, prioritising a centre-back and centre-forward.
But it has not stopped them expressing an interest in Los Blancos midfielder Lucas Vazquez. The Spaniard has been playing this season across the right wing in a variety of positions, leading to a reported “four year” contract offer.
And Spanish outlet Defensa Central have reported that United will be keeping an eye on his next game. Vazquez is expected to play a part in Madrid’s Champions League quarter-final clash against Liverpool, with the first leg on.
