Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott got engaged in Scotland after four years of dating.

American actress Zooey Deschanel has announced her engagement to Jonathan Scott, the co-host of a US reality TV show, Property Brothers.The New Girl star, 43, and Jonathan, 45, both posted a photo to their Instagram accounts which showed Deschanel sporting pink nails and an engagement ring with a photo caption that read: “Forever starts now”. A number of celebrities commented on Zooey’s post, offering their best wishes.

Zooey Deschanel showcased her sense of style during a brief outing in sunny Santa Monica earlier on Saturday. The New Girl alum, 42, was effortlessly chic in a pair of 70s-inpsired pants and a vibrant blue shirt as she enjoyed the start of her relaxing weekend. Later on in the day, the talented actress was pictured holding hands with her five-year-old  son, Charlie, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Jacob Pechenik.
