Bournemouth are open to selling star strikers Callum Wilson and Josh King at the end of the season - leaving potential suitors Manchester United on red alert.
The Cherries have produced a net spend that exceeds £100m over the last three campaigns, splashing the cash on the likes of Jefferson Lerma [£25m], Dominic Solanke [£20m] and Arnaut Danjuma [£16m].
It hasn’t worked out too well for them, nevertheless, with Eddie Howe’s side languishing in the relegation zone heading into the final nine games of the season.
Yet according to The Sun, owner Maxim Demin is now planning to curb the club’s excessive spending as part of a new transfer policy.
