Arsenal star Hector Bellerin has joined forces with the likes of Chelsea youngster Reece James and Manchester United ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka in raising over £100,00 to help the vulnerable victims of the killer coronavirus disease.

The COVID-19 infection claimed another 103 lives in the UK on Thursday, taking the total loss of life from the pandemic on these shores to 578.

As NHS staff battle to save lives and companies switch from manufacturing vacuum cleaners to ventilators to help sufferers breathe, Premier League footballs are playing their own part.

A host of stars, including Bournemouth's Callum Wilson and Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend, have put their rivalries aside and pitched in to raise funds for the National Emergencies
