Jurgen Klopp regrets his response to Bournemouth’s opening goal in their 2-1 Premier League win over the relegation strugglers.

The Reds, who came into the clash having lost three of their last four games, went behind in controversial fashion. Callum Wilson appeared to shove Joe Gomez before slotting home Jefferson Lerma’s cross in the ninth minute.

Klopp was furious at the time as he remonstrated with the officials over the VAR decision. Speaking after the game though, the German boss admitted he was disappointed in his reaction.

He told BT Sport: "The first goal was, from my point of view, 100 per cent a foul, nothing else. The ref doesn't see it. 
"I did it.
