Wayne Rooney has finally hung up his boots to take the Derby job on a permanent basis. The Manchester United legend has been in interim charge of the Championship outfit of late, impressing Pride Park bosses.
Derby have won three and drawn four of Rooney's nine games in the dugout and have pulled themselves to the cusp of escaping the relegation zone.
The Rams have recently been taken over and the new owners will be hoping Rooney can continue the club's solid form.
