George Edmundson over a deadline day loan move to Derby County. The Rangers manager has given his former England team mate the green light to go and sign his out-of-favour central defender.
Edmundson is keen to go out and get games and for the chance to play in the English Championship.The 23-year-old has travelled south to seal a deal at Pride Park before the deadline.Edmundson arrived from Oldham Athletic in the summer of 2019.The centre half has had to bide his time and has top-team exposure, but has seen his first-team chances limited by the form of Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Filip Helander.Edmundson was then suspended for seven games after a Covid-19 breach.
