But the sacking of Phillip Cocu in November led to Rooney overseeing first-team preparations.The former United striker has not played a game since and after going on a six-game unbeaten run Rooney found himself in pole position for the role.And now his playing days are over Ferdinand clearly thinks one prophecy will come true.The former United defender shared a snap of Rooney sporting a belly and a beard, while eating beans with a spoon from a caravan.
