police probe has been launched after the body of an unidentified man was found near a Scots beauty spot. Emergency services were called to the scene in Allander Park, Milngavie, at around 11.30am on Thursday after the tragic discovery.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene and investigators are currently treating his death as “unexplained”.
The area, near the popular walking route the West Highland Way, was cordoned off while officers carried out further enquiries.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Around 11.30am on Thursday, 4 June, 2020 officers were called to Allander Park in Milngavie. "Police and ambulance attended and a man has been pronounced dead. "The area has been cordoned off and officers.
