The body of a man has been recovered after the emergency services rushed to the scene amid concerns for his welfare. A cordon was in place from 3pm on Saturday, November 6, in Peel Moat Road, Stockport, according to eyewitnesses.

Police had been called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man on the street in Heaton Moor.
