Salford. Emergency services were called to Trinity Way, at the junction with Blackfriars Road at 22.15pm on Thursday (13 August) night.Several police, ambulance and fire crews attended the smash.A man, believed to be in his 30s, had to be rescued after becoming trapped in one of the vehicles.He was taken to hospital for further treatment.The extent of his injuries have not been confirmed.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire Service said: "We were called at 10.19pm on Thursday, 13 August, to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Trinity Way, at the junction with Blackfriars Road, in Salford. "Two fire engines from Salford and the technical response unit from Ashton, quickly attended the scene.
