Manchester City are reportedly being 'cautious' in their pursuit of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, after getting burned by his agent Fali Ramadani when they attempted to sign Jorginho in 2018.
City's director of football Txiki Begiristain believed he had agreed a deal with Napoli and Ramadani to bring Jorginho to the Etihad, only for Chelsea to swoop in and bring him to Stamford Bridge along with Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.
As a result of their previous dealings with Ramadani, Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport are reporting that City are proceeding with negotiations to sign Koulibaly with 'great caution, not to mention mistrust'.
