Police have charged a man in connection with the deaths of more than 20 wild birds, including birds of prey, in Dunfries and Galloway.
Cops said the 64-year-old had been charged with a number of wildlife crimes in the Stewartry area. Probes have been ongoing into the deaths of more than 20 birds of prey and other wild birds in the Springholm area near Castle Douglas between 2018 and 2020.
