A man has been charged with the murder of Emanuel Simon in Rusholme. Emanuel, 33, was assaulted outside the Dubai Café on Wilmslow Road on 26 January this year police say.
Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he died in hospital on Monday February 10. Officers today said a man had been arrested by officers investigating his death.
And they have now confirmed a man has been charged with murder. Nojan Kafi, 34, has been remanded into custody and is due to appear before Manchester Magistrates court on Monday morning.
Emanuel, originally from Eritrea in east Africa had come to the UK to study medicine and hoped to become a doctor police revealed after his death.
