Bolton Wanderers now have other options to turn to in central midfield and there may well be times now where they are not as reliant on MJ Williams starting as they once were, Ian Evatt believes.
The former Liverpool youngster has been one of the key players for Wanderers since joining the club in the January transfer window last season.
His defensive qualities have offered balance to Bolton's midfield, which has often suffered and not quite been the same when he has been absent. Williams was an unused substitute in the 4-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon over the weekend as Evatt opted on a more expansive midfield duo of Aaron Morley and Kyle Dempsey.
