Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Man charged with murder of toddler found with head injury at house two years ago

A man has been charged with murdering a 21-month-old girl who was found at a house with a head injury two-and-a-half years ago.

The toddler was discovered seriously injured and unconscious at an address in The Green, in the Northfield area of Birmingham, on the afternoon of November 19, 2017.

Sean Sadler, of Coriander Close, Birmingham, has today been charged with murder and wounding, having initially been arrested in 2017.

The 31-year-old will appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court this afternoon. West Midlands Police said a 30-year-old woman, arrested at the time of the incident, was released without charge.
