A young woman says her "whole life has been turned upside down" by the "incredible pain" she suffers on a daily basis caused by a contraceptive implant.
Danielle Hayes, 24, has been left unable to carry out everyday tasks and is desperate to live "a normal life" again, describing the pinching pain caused by to nerve damage as a "living nightmare".
The customer service worker is now helping to raise awareness and warn others of the possible risks the implant can have as a form of contraception.
Hayes, from Prenton, says that there is very little information of the side effect that left her unable to move "without being in tears", the Liverpool Echo reports.
