The 2018 film and the 2021 sequel “Halloween Kills” saw Laurie team up with her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) when Myers reemerges to attack Haddonfield, Ill.

John Carpenter has recently teased that “Halloween Ends” will be “a departure” from the other films in the new trilogy. One wonders what type of departure the film will take after “Halloween Kills” murdered most of its protagonists.
