Tatiana Maslany to Star in Comedic Thriller Directed by David Gordon Green; Apple Series Promises ‘Blackmail, Murder and Youth Soccer’

variety.comEthan Shanfeld Tatiana Maslany will star in a new comedic thriller series, “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” from director David Gordon Green and Apple TV+.
Created by David J. Rosen (“Citadel,” “Sugar,” “Hunters”), the darkly funny show follows a newly divorced mom who falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” will consist of 10 half-hour episodes.
The series was developed by and will be executive produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Films under their first-look deal with Apple TV+, and Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content.
Green, whose comedy credits include “The Righteous Gemstones,” “Mythic Quest,” “Pineapple Express” and “Nutcrackers,” also executive produces.
