Man charged with attempted murder after baby girl found seriously injured

mirror.co.ukA man has been charged with attempted murder after a baby was found seriously injured inside a house in Blackpool. Lancashire Police said they found the four-month-old girl injured after being called to the address by the North West Ambulance Service.
The baby girl was found injured at the property in Onslow Road, Layton, at 6.05pm on Thursday, police said. She was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital and later transferred to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital where she remains in a critical condition, a statement from police said.
Jordan Lee, 28, from Blackpool, was initially arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm Police said following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Lee had since been charged with attempted murder.
