The Royal family has been reunited after months apart during lockdown. At the end of a two day long Royal Train tour of the country, Prince William and Kate stopped off at Windsor Castle.
There they were greeted by The Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince Edward and Sophie, and Princess Anne. The royal family has been separated for much of the pandemic, with the Queen spending most of her time in Windsor Castle while her husband remained in Sandringham.
The castle has come to be known as HMS Bubble during lockdown, with a skeleton crew of staff keeping exposure to the monarch to a minimum.
Today the royals gathered in the quadrangle of Windsor Castle to meet local volunteers and key workers, who will be spreading festive cheer
