William Leiper's murder probe in a Glasgow park.The 31-year-old's burned remains were discovered in Pollok’s Househill Park at around 7.35am on Wednesday, August 4, by a member of the public.A 40-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the death as investigations continue.
He is due to appear at Glasgow Sherriff Court on Monday, August 16.Leiper's death was initially treated as 'unexplained' however Police Scotland have now confirmed that they believed he was murdered.Before he died, he was charged with multiple sex attacks and violent assaults on a woman over a period of several years.He went on trial at Glasgow High Court but was acquitted of all charges on July 30.Cops are now urging anyone with information on.
