Man avoids jail after coughing on cops who had already been bitten by his dog

Manchester Magistrates Court heard. As things escalated, officers arrested him and tried to restrain him, but his dog bit two of the officers.He then started pushing the chest’s of the officers and calling them “P*** p*****”.

Wolfenden, of Rochdale, was later taken to Fairfield Hospital after admitting taking cocaine, and there he became verbally abusive to members of staff and the officer who had to stay with him.

There, he was coughing ‘continuously’ stating: “I have coronavirus, I hope you all get corona”.He told another officer: “If you ever have children, I hope you lose them.”Wolfenden pleaded guilty to three offences of assaulting an emergency worker, and two offences of using racially aggravated harassment or words.He was not.
