Man allegedly 'sold his 10-year-old daughter to friend for sexual services'

10-year-old child to a friend for sex.The father, 45, allegedly sold his daughter to an acquaintance for sexual services and was only caught when she told her teacher about it.According to the Borneo Post the man was, at the order of The Magistrate's Court in Kuching, Sarawak, remanded in custody for an extended period of time following the allegation. READ MORE: EXCLUSIVE 'Frightened' Putin 'getting closer to launching nuclear strike' warns ex-RAF chief He was arrested on September 27 after the teacher lodged a complaint with police following the little girl’s tip-off.The man was taken into custody in Matang at around 2pm – his accomplice, 44, who is the friend alleged to have ‘bought’ the girl, was arrested two days later on September 29.They are both now in custody to, in the words of local media outlets, ‘assist in investigations.’On October 3, Magistrate Zaiton Anuar extended the time the first man was to be remanded in custody from five to 10 days.The second suspect is to be held in custody from until October 6.The case is being looked into under the Malaysian laws Section 31(1)(b) of the Child Act 2001 for child neglect and abandonment and Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape.Sarawak is located on the northeast of the Island of Borneo, the third largest island in the world and which is divided between Malaysia and Brunei in the north, and Indonesia to the south.
