A Covid-conscious man who ordered a £50 weekly shop from ASDA was left fuming when all that turned up on his doorstep was a measly bag of oven chips.
Council worker Karl Griffiths, 41, booked the delivery online instead of going to the local supermarket in a bid to follow government guidelines on minimising travel during the pandemic.
But he claims he was left empty handed - and with an empty stomach - after every single item on his list failed to materialise, aside from some frozen fries.
The former wrestler said the £1.75 pack of chips that arrived wasn't even the brand he'd actually bought. All ASDA could offer was a refund which would take up to three to five days to clear and customer service refused to provide further explanation
