Married at First Sight UK expert and sex therapist Charlene Douglas has confessed "there’s no way she’d ever get married on the show".

Charlene, 41, may be comfortable being one of the experts on the popular dating show, but she admits she could never marry a complete stranger on TV. "Well, what better way to meet someone than to be matched by experts and then to have experts involved every week in your story helping you along the way," says Charlene. "That is like gold. "It takes a lot of bravery, a lot of courage to do this process.

I’ve often been asked if I’d do it and the answer is, quite firmly, 'no!'" She added: "I think for them to do it shows how much they really want this." Charlene - who is a trained sex and relationship therapist - went on to give advice to singletons who are hoping to find love themselves. "Hang in there if it’s something you want," the star said. "But you can’t just rely on online dating apps, lying in your bed and swiping, thinking 'no, no, yes, no!'" She continued: "You have to go out there, meet people, have real conversations.Take up hobbies where you’ll find people who are interested in the same things as you. "Because while you’re feeling positive it’s that classic line, 'You meet people when you least expect it.' "Often that’s because you’re in your own world, living your best life and that guy/girl walks past and the rest is history." It comes after Charlene's co-star and expert Paul C Brunson admitted that some couples from the reality experiment are “better off not together”.
